The Gymnastic Wheel consists of two equal-sized synthetic-covered tubular steel rims, connected by six steel rungs.
You can use the Gymnastic Wheel to do various exercises:
In the straight-line dicipline the wheel is set in motion on both rims.
In the spiral discipline the wheel is set in motion on one rim. An approximately circular path is traced by the rim in contact with the floor
The vault is performed over the rolling wheel (one possible element: front tuck).

Das Rhönrad besteht aus zwei kunsttoffummantelten Stahlreifen, die durch Sprossen miteinander verbunden sind.
Mit dem Rhönrad kann auf verschiedene Weisen geturnt werden:
In der Disziplin Geradeturnen rollt das Rad auf beiden Reifen.
Beim Spiraleturnen wird das Rad auf einem Reifen kreisförmig auf dem Boden fortbewegt.
Beim Sprung springt der Turner auf das rollende Rad auf und vollendet den Sprung z.B. mit einem Salto auf den Boden.
 

Rhönrad es una actividad gimnástica que se practica a través de una gran rueda llamada en España Rueda Alemanaporque la inventó el alemán Otto Feick. La rueda consiste en dos grandes círculos paralelos unidos por seis travesaños.
La Rueda se puede utilizar a través de varios ejercicios:
EN LÍNEA cuando la Rueda se desplaza sobre los dos círculos 
EN ESPIRAL cuando la Rueda se desplaza sobre un círculo
